Information for points card holders
BLS is introducing a new cash register and access system in 2023 for the car transport service at Lötschberg and Simplon. At the time of the system conversion, the entire balance on the BLS points card (1xxxxxx) will be transferred to a digital customer account and can continue to be used for the BLS car transport service Lötschberg/Simplon.
As a result of the technical adjustment, mutual use of the points cards with MGBahn will no longer be possible from 1 April 2023. This means:
- The balance of the BLS points card (1xxxxxx) can no longer be used with the Furka car transport service of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn.
- The MGBahn points card (2xxxxxx) can no longer be used with the Lötschberg and Simplon car transport service of BLS AG.
